OpenAI expanded its district footprint and privacy framework
ChatGPT for Teachers expanded to 55 additional school systems, reaching over 300,000 educators across more than 100 K–12 organizations. OpenAI also introduced a Student Data Privacy Consortium agreement covering 15 states, including Virginia, plus California. Access remains free through June 2028.
